Lost in the city

Eighty odd floors as quick as a flash

Again the New Yorkers take care of your cash.

It’s windy as fuck but the view is pure class

But you can’t just jump off as you’re penned in by glass

Well that was the third of surprises today

Of the others I’ll let you decide as I say

Grand central station surprised me the most

It’s a lot like Newcastle but much more grandiose.

Next the U.N, a surprise to be sure

Did you know that it’s free? And a bloody good tour.

We DID try the Chrysler, but didn’t get far

So now me and Stevie are sat in a bar

For tonight we climb up the Empire State building

Where that fucking huge monkey destroyed all the gilding

And see round the city with all its bright lights

As tomorrow at six we catch our last flight
