Bright lights big city car horns and zero pity, vagrants drunks and homeless vets,
I’m hoping this is as bad as it gets!
Drowning tears and lifeless fears, from youngest to the oldest years. When Love has lost and hatred sneers, life hauls you from its net.
But still they come to find a dream and live the easy life it seems to wear them down and in between each season raises debts.
The never sleeping monster rules those sordid souls of baying fools who tip their hats and stay their mules upon the burning steps.
But once the sun stops beating down, and all above/ below the ground have worshipped gods for half a pound of putrid rotten flesh
To sway their souls from darkened deeds and run too far from sprouting seeds of demon frongs with sapling weeds, let’s call off all those bets!
New York, New York IS a wonderful town, behind every smile is a desperate frown of a soul who’ll fall from high to ground and gets what he will get!
