Sunday! Ah the day of rest, but I suppose when you are the owner of Double Emdemity (by that I mean retired AND on summer holiday from school) every day seems to be a rest day (for now anyway) I fully intend on throwing myself at a bit of a large project in the coming days! I think it should be ok, but you never know! Life ALWAYS gets in the way doesn’t it.
After the shambolic state I found myself in on Friday night, it was to be a cleansing weekend! Well that didn’t last long! I ordered an Indian curry last night and scoffed half of it within an hour! So that’s a kebab on Friday and a curry on Saturday! I should really cut down that crap. As today I watched a fantastic piece of television in the morning and took a lot from it as I shall elaborate…..
Iranian cooking with walnuts, mollassis and chicken. Seriously, check it out, Nigel Slater had a guest on his morning show who cooked it, as I did today, the only cross barer is the time it takes to make! Over three and a half hours! But well worth the wait. Anyway, I’ve made enough for the next couple of meals (and of course I’ve still got the Indian in the fridge). I was, however, going to have fish and chips at tynemouth but it seems that no one told me that they were closing the Main Street for some fate or other! Never mind! All done and done, food made, bike in bed, clothes washed and hoovered up. Night yall
