If anything, I’ve noticed the distinct lack of ‘fuck it I’m off’ from the general civilian population! Having to explain POETS day to some (Piss Off Early, Tomorrow’s Saturday) brings into question an air of unwillingness to buck that trend! Yet many civilians contend that that is exactly what they think they do! ‘Buck the trend!’, but I suppose it’s how you contextualise that act! (I was taught that word in English but this is the first time I’ve thought about using it) Some buck the trend by imagining themselves as individuals, although as I alluded to a while ago, these individuals cluster because it’s better to be individual collectively rather than an individual alone and vulnerable to verbal (or physical) attack from ‘Outsiders’ (Whoever these are now)
(That’s got to be the strangest first paragraph on this site for a long while!) Anyhoo! Today I decided to take ‘Big Red’ to school instead of the old omnibus that I usually hang around on! This was a breath of fresh air (in many ways) rising late from my slumber, having the freedom of movement around the roads, not sitting next to some gimp who believes they have god damn given rite to talk to me! (I hate gimps in the morning) it actually only took me 20 minutes to get there, so the upside is HUGE bed time!! As fortune favours the bold, it turned out one of the tutors was having a day off today (we had lessons with her in the afternoon) so off home early too! Oh this day can’t get much better I feel 😊
So back in Morpeth Motorcycles for a quick bite to eat before I hit Morrisons for the essentials, chocolate biscuits (and other such crap) as the dark clouds gather above, I realise it could have been a severe lack of judgement to only put my dark visor on me lid this morning! I really did think it would be lighter (I have lost all sense of seasonal expectation) so now I need to ride ‘Big Red’ back home with my visor UP in the fucking freezing cold, serves me right!
