Strange weekend really! First I went and got a bit drunk on Friday night, then I spent the entire day (just about) in a motorbike shop drinking coffee and talking to strangers. This was after the news of a good mans death at the TT during the last sidecar race. Then there was Sunday! I mean Sunday!!!! I woke at ten, had a cup Of tea, a bowl of serial then fucked off back to bed until five that afternoon.
I think I fell out with a couple of people via social media (but who doesn’t these days eh?) I was actually filled with a deep bucket of sorrow, looking back, you know those life altering events that sort of shift you sideways and stuff. While NOT being a family member, I felt sorrow for Ian Bells family and workers (I don’t know them socially but they are a really nice bunch of guys and girls) and it was with the same weight of sympathy I had with a lot of others that I left a bunch of flowers at the entrance to his shop.
Anyhoo! This is MY story (I’m sure his will be brought up again and again with fond memories). The reason why I’m writing today is only because I have left it a little too long and nothing in particular has happened in my week. I’m starting to realise when life is going good, I write about it (whatever silly words come out) but when life scrapes an iceberg, I sort of keep it to myself for a while and forget to blether about it…..UNLESS I’m on a tirade then I let loose as soon as possible with the daggers and fire breathing!
Needless to say I have placed some ‘arty’ type pics of ‘Big Red’ on here today! I think an inanimate object can make one happy if one has a motive to show it (random blurting I know) but allow me to ramble until my life hits a pothole or a crest! I would like to think normal service will resume shortly, geeetar making actually commences on Thursday so at least I will have productivity pictures to post! As for my other occupying things through the week, well let’s just say I’ve lost me anchor for now shall we?
