If the day doesn’t dawn how you want it to be, then you just gotta try it and give it a see. The time ticks away as you lay in your bed, so don’t lie there and dream that you’re living instead. The clock waits for no one its hands pass on by, watch the seconds then minutes then hours all fly. Your alarm sounds it’s claxton it gets in your head, and reminds you that life doesn’t live in your bed.
With the moist laden Windows you know today’s cold, your bones feel the frost and you know that you’re old. The heating clicks on and the rooms lose their chill, it don’t matter to you coz you won’t pay the bill.
Now writing these tomes I seem dark and upset, that my life hasn’t reached up as high as you get. But don’t worry my friends that these words make you think, they are straight from the heart, with the coffee I drink.
One last word of caution for you in your beds, don’t lay still in your wet patch, wiggle round it instead! There’s nothing as bad as a sheet stuck to you, so grab hold of a sock, yes you know what to do 🙂
