Well, the aforementioned ripping up of the wooden flooring yesterday, ready for the little minion wobbles to turn up today and fur my floors, was a waste of frikkin time! Staying in all day waiting for these maggots took its toll on my nerves! Right up to the point when I received a phone call informing me that they had just picked up the carpets and would see me ‘In the morning!’ As you may expect, this didn’t lay well in my conscience as I was fully aware that these puffs had been booked for today (if I had a job, I would have taken the day off) fortunately I had little to do except wait. But not for tomorrow (it’s a hard life juggling appointments and making plans for myself let alone others)
With the speed of a tall Indian, I unshackled my gates and wheelspun out the estate! Like a rapid response team to a pie shop on fire I made a beeline to “Franks” in Crambodia. (Now of late, all I’ve had from Crammy is shit service and headaches- when will I learn?) As I entered the shop, I saw the ‘Manager’ type dude standing with his phone glued to his ear! (He’s probably only the salesman) the guy I wanted wasn’t there! The guy who told me to relax and take the day off as I would be getting seen to……TODAY! I held back with the vitriol, but couldn’t hide my preturbance. As I loaded the bullets into my vocal magazine, I knew who was getting it and how many rounds. Unfortunately I had a run away and fired everywhere!!! Oops! On a good note, I got free Lino whenever I go back in 🙂
So now I sit having me dinner (or lunch if you’re posh) pondering what to do next! I can’t go to the car shop as the idiot there who installed me stereo decided that I should have any other things electrical connected to me dashboard! (He’s costing me a warranty claim) so now I am at a loss. The prospect of another night in the midden saddens me (especially as I haven’t anything left to build) as you can see I like colours in me draws! (Ooher!). So now is time to tuck in and try not to ponder too much on anything else (me pills are starting to wear off now)
