Hot hot, hot! It’s a Sunday, my washing was done yesterday and now the sun is out, the skies are blue and I’m thinking lots of things to do. Riding into Cresswell I’m faced with a multitude of cyclists! In all their glory they look like wrinkly licorice all sorts! Brightly coloured spandexed prunes in sunglasses and day glow mittens! As I look around, I realise that because I own a bike with an engine, I’m not one of the crowd! I’m an outcast in a modern world!
Only a few of the ‘Crowd’. My only problem now is the heat! Now don’t get me wrong, the sun is fantastic, it’s just the only seat left in the drift was by the window, and as I’m dressed in black (for the bike) I may start to overheat due to stupidity! What I have plumped for though, is a salad adjoined with a crab sandwich, I don’t regularly eat this shell fish (mainly because I normally poison meself with sea food) but as a homage to me dad. Drinking earl grey and eating crab on a Sunday! He would have over it. (Although I’m not sure about the ponciness of the dish)
My plans? Well I’ve strapped me gopro to the bike and I’m looking at getting some great finof the ride I’m on. Probably scooting upto Alnwick (or somewhere up that way) just to get out 🙂 if I can figure a way to get film on this medium I will (I think I did that last ear or the year before) but can’t really remember how I did it, or not!
Still coming in!!! Anyway, my rest time has just about come to an end and I must get back on me bike to while away the rest of the day! Ooh, just a last photo of some lovely patrons of this cafe (the biker in the last pic looked absolutely shocked when these lot came in) catch you all later x (shit! Lost pic)
