Wind, and rain, and cold! Is it winter now? I’m sure there are at least FOUR seasons somewhere, although I know we have had at least three years worth of rain in one day during my travels! “No, not the Bore Worms” but the bike riding days are still abound! A little damp won’t stop me enjoying my time on the road up here or around Scotland! (I think I’m supposed to be depressed and upset right now, oh well! That’s never gonna happen). My day started with a trip to the opticians to see if they can furnish me with an excuse as to why I haven’t received me contact lenses yet, and ended up with me buying two sets of glasses!
Obviously now I’m claiming some sort of benefit (for being a spaz you understand) I was able to get a HUGE reduction in price. From over two hundred and eighty quid down to sixty shekels. One set thin and crispy, the other reactolight! My Harry Potter reading gigs look the business (I’ll show them off next week) but let’s hope I don’t look a proper twat! (No hat in sight Di) a quick lunch then back to me flat while I wait for me favourite pension guy to turn up and take both barrels from my wrath!
My day just got a little brighter! I have switched on the tellyvisual set in me front room and lo and behold, Flash Gordon is on!! (he looks different to his appearance on Ted!). There is much to do in the next few days to be honest! Living on the wilds of Scotland riding horses will require some organising I’m sure, but I suppose if I just pack the essentials, phone/ cards/ charger/ bike, I’ll be fine! Do I need jodhpurs? Or shall I let the jean seams take the fall again?
Right that’s it, I’ve just scratched the inside of me nose because of an itch, and now bleeding to death! Seriously the whole hanky is covered in me own juice! I think a trip to the doctors is in order soon! Along with a trip to halfords to get some cleaning stuff for me wheels! Have fun everyone (well not everyone, there’s always someone ready to whinge)
