Starfish and coffee

Well here we go again, another trip down the road to the other end of the country. Unfortunately when I woke yesterday the sun had buggered off to other far away places and deserted the north of England. In fact it had done one all the way down to an area close to Bristol. I was fecking soaked by my first stop (that was only York) it took me three hours to travel 100 miles (well this was going to be a great journey)

However! I knew after a while the sun would (should) appear and dey out my sodden soul. The fact that I was hairing down the road approaching light speed,  would also dry my bones. So it was I had to plan extra stops as the hours wangled on and on, the end seemingly flowing further away from me as the skies grew lighter!

So it was with lightened heart I finally arrived in Totnes, all important meetings forgotten and letters ignored as the miles disappeared! Unfortunately as soon as I made my way to my temperary accommodation, me mate dropped in for a bike ride. Now this was the first time I’ve seen him on a bike so it was without hesitation I rode off for a quick ride, but quick wasn’t as quick as it should have been! I came back late (an hour after me curry arrived 😳😖). Now I’m back in my element with a coffee in hand and a free look around at holiday makers and tourists!
