Waiting for the day

Toast and coffee and a morning waiting for a phone call, haha! Just received a text that all the electrical goods have been ordered and will be delivered on Friday 🙂 (Soldiers Off The Streets are pulling out all the stops ) AND they will be on their way in few hours with furniture for the whole house. The last 24 have been pretty cool tbh. Yesterday evening saw me spend some time with the “Sea Cadets” and it’s where I realised I had no idea of navy ranks!!!! What’s a PO? What’s a rating, it’s all gobbldyjook to me. But at least I got to see the youth in Ashington do something other than hang around the streets spitting and generally being little sods. I also found it a tremendous struggle (for some reason) pedalling UP stake ford bank (on the Ashington side) now I run often and far, but for some reason my chest felt as though I had been smoking two hundred tabs all at once. Now this wouldn’t have been a problem if my sister had phoned her insurance and found out sooner that I have actually been insured for her car since the beginning of the year!!!!!!! Swings and roundabouts!

OMG, sitting in the house waiting for anything to happen is not the best pastime in the world. I can sort of understand why old people, sick people, even people on the dole turn to alcohol, drugs, internet porn, or any other of the myriad of vices to kill the malaise of the mind. I have just watched a program on how to make pearls, how to twist pretzels, how to buy a “Bin” full of crap for an inflated price at auction. You can learn ANYTHING from Sky TV, and you can waste your entire life sitting in front of the Logi Baired inspired baby sitter. (Can you tell that it’s a slow day with waiting being the pastime of choice?)

Well it’s the end of the day, it’s curry time, it’s been ordered at least half an hour ago and My belly thinks my throat has been cut. Now today was going fantastic, things were happening and everything was going along swimmingly. Then I didn’t get the phone call I was expecting, that lowered the clouds, so I watched a little more crap TV, and the day disappeared, it wasn’t until waaaaaaay down the line of the afternoon that I rang and found there isn’t anything happening until Friday 😦 but many many things have happened too. I have an appointment tomorrow with the DWP to ask why I wasn’t considered a Habitual Resident (even though later in the throws of desolation, another separate conglomeration of government have accepted I’m here) the people from housing wish to see me to make sure I’m ok, the RBL have done a 180 and found my stuff, coming to see me Friday, AND I must remember to go to the gym tomorrow for health therapy. It’s all happening here.

So curry finished, mood lightened and looking forward to the next couple of days. All should be good in the hood, note—-SHOULD! I’ll bid you farewell and hope your dreams stay dreams and your thoughts are happy ones 🙂
