The Med set the backdrop for an afternoon of trying not to lose a contact lens nor lose my trunks. Coral beach was a little gem to behold. steep inward slopes led to a severe backwash of the waves (giant waves) some of them. many many people stood like King Kanute, many many people were washed back onto the steep slopes only to re emerge coughing and snotting the sea out as fast as they could. Topless bathers, Sun kissed muscle bound guys and people like me flocked to the sands to enjoy the afternoon fun in the  sun. i must admit, as afternoons go, this was a doozy!

waking up at the ungodly hour of 1200 o’clock noon didn’t help the days plans whatsoever, i WAS going to go int the old town and buy a top for tomorrow nights shenanigans on the boat, but the=at bit the dust as the shops shut at 1300 and don’t open again until 1500, by that time i was in the pub drinking to get re-hidrated again. so it was the beach. After passing a garage that holds my future car. a car i MUSR get soon so i can drive around like a king (or queen) and lord it over my peers. well this will have to wait a day or two.

Evening food was on the agenda, so i thought i would be able to get something to eat at Pathos’s best local eatery. when i arrived, i fund the place to be closed, and it didn’t look like it was going to open for the b=night, so the next door restaurant (an Italians) was ready for service. The food was second to none, with the pizzas and the linguini cooked to perfection. even the starters were something quite different to anything  had consumed in the UK.

Looking at the night to come, a few drinks at Pambis were on the cards, unfortunately the cards corresponded only to the cocktails page of the menu. Mai Tais, Tequila, Blue lagoons, Ice teas and an assortment of differing alcoholic beverages have all led me here, a drunk wreck of an ex soldier, doing his best not to spell much wrong, or offend anyone he knows (although that will probably happen anyway)

Adam Adamson still is an awesome shag... Well he is. Honest. But whatever, he has always loved to write, even before he could write. Its been a passion of his since he realised that others would read his stuff and get a little emotional. That gripped him really. Was it good or was it crap? Anyhoo! Enjoy reading what i’ve scribbled and who knows… one day it might make sense.
