I try, yes I try To do things by the book.But its always the people in chargewho’re the crooks.I’ve jumped through their hoopsto placate all their needs,And I’ve come to realiselife is so filled with greed.I do not ask for much.Won’t they leave me to be?Now I feel like John Snowcoz I won’t take the…

who’re the crooks.
I’ve jumped through their hoops
to placate all their needs,
And I’ve come to realise
life is so filled with greed.

I do not ask for much.
Won’t they leave me to be?
Now I feel like John Snow
coz I won’t take the knee
and I’m fed up with phone calls
that never make sense,
when I hang up I’m left
feeling pissed off and tense.

Is it too much to ask
for a bit of advice?
To be actually told 
just the truth would be nice.
so I guess I’ll just wait
for the debt letter soon
to be dropped through my door
by these government goons.
