It’s been a while, but this ‘while’ has contained challenges, travelling, friendship, pain, sweat fun and frolics! Well, sort of anyway. The challenges are all part of the 22 press-up challenge we veterans have decided to take on where we try to raise awareness of the mental health issues throughout the forces, both US AND THE UK. It’s widely publicised that 22 US veterans take their own lives due to PTSD (or the lack of awareness of it) but it’s not so widely known that the suicide rate in the UK veterans society has overtaken the deaths from combat in Iraq.

Travelling meant hitting the A1 to H4H for my guitar course, which didn’t happen. Health and wellbeing courses took over the workshop (but it didn’t phase me, I had time to do other stuff). Stretching my engineering mind, I came up with a solution to a problem that shouldn’t have arisen. But looking at the simple methods of achieving a result worked in favour of my simple mind. (I also managed to get meself involved with a completely different course next week too)

Oh yeah and of course I was enrolled into Northumberland College as I passed the assessment, well I say assessment it was more like a fucking krypton factor spelling test for intellectuals! What the hell is a subordinate clause? (I was having trouble with bloody apostrophise) anyway, I’m in, loan applied for and date set for start so now I’m classing medley as on holiday! Having seen the timetable I chucked a little as I’m doing three days of Statistics, English, and sociology!!!!! I mean, an ‘Ology’ wtf?

Adam Adamson still is an awesome shag... Well he is. Honest. But whatever, he has always loved to write, even before he could write. Its been a passion of his since he realised that others would read his stuff and get a little emotional. That gripped him really. Was it good or was it crap? Anyhoo! Enjoy reading what i’ve scribbled and who knows… one day it might make sense.
