This evening I decided to let the Deliah out the bottle (well with a little bit red wine). Stake pies to start with! Yup, homemade steak pies with a red wine gravy! (I know) but with the kitchen heating up I needed to get something cooking as I’m fed up with using my local takeaway menus.   

Bare with me! This isn’t about food in a restaurant. It’s about good old fashioned home cooking (while holding a glass of wine a la Kieth Floyd!) only took an hour or so with this. But for puddin……….. 

 Fig and frangipan tart with a mascarpone and lemon zest……….lump! (I don’t know what to call that bit) and THAT only took fifteen minutes. Obviously with the wine on a drip, the time passed sooooo quickly.   

 Accidents do happen (even when sober) but once again, I’ve shown that it’s not hard to produce something rather than buy it in! (Obviously I had to buy the ingredients, coz I can’t grow cows or flour yet). So have a good evening guys and girls and may your God go with you 🙂
