Tell me lies tell me sweet little lies

Winter, I’ve missed you! No I really have. It’s been nice riding through the summer (or what we had of it) but I feel I regard the cold dark evenings with happy memories! (Just wait for the snow) okay so the rain is a bit of a bugger, but what sort of bike rider am I f I cry off a journey with a little drizzle. Then again, the deluge I rode through in the middle of the warm season was a joke!  
Anyhoo! The fog crept into the very fabric of the world last night! Like a scene from some horror film where the monsters chase you from the invisible dark! The estate became eerily quiet! Not even a barking dog! (Happy with that) Well I obviously survived the horror movie last night and dragged me sorry arse out of bed at stupid o’clock in the morning AGAIN! (My sleep wasn’t too fitful as my cough seems to be a little lighter ( or at least coming from a different area)) . The reason for my inexplicable my early day? A journey to Whitley bay to get an electrical problem sorted! It’s sort of sorted, but as this one was being sorted, another couple of problems surfaced. So they will be getting sorted on a different sortie to the coast!   

Glasses too, were a secondary reason for me beating the birds up! My NEW varifocals were ready for collection. Maybe next time I shall go to the opticians without me contact lenses in eh! Trying to see through those AND new gigs didn’t go down too well! (Another set of lenses discarded) but hey! They look kinda cool.  

 The last part of my afternoon has consisted of listening to two guys fit my new cooker extraction hood! A simple job (or so I had thought) but as the unit required wiring direct to the mains, I thought better of it! The last time I touched household lectrics, I blew me brothers lights up on a Sunday!!! Oops! So now I have a matching hood to me back splash and hob (hark at me knowing what I’m on about) no pics today of this but I’m sure I’ll get one or two as I’m sad!
