It’s official, I am now an official fairy! I’ve been Ill for three days and I feel like a big wet lettuce of a guy (ok not so big) but you know what I mean. It started with a sore throat, then progressed onto a horrible gurgling stomach, aches and pains, nausea, sweating and eventually I was able to eject the contents of my intestines in loads of new and amusing ways. I thought it was all over last night when I started to cough in a melodic, rhythmic way for about an hour. A couple of coughs, ten seconds of silence, a couple of coughs, ten seconds of silence all the way for the entire hour, oh to say I was a little piqued would be an understatement.
So I arrived at the Dive Centre and sat for a little while this morning and Lost myself in my thoughts. I mean yesterday I descended to around 9 meters as part of my mates Dive Master course and I didn’t feel too clever. Holding my regulator in place as I coughed underwater and nearly sneezed once. Seeing as today we would be going to around 30 meters, I thought better of it, and as one of the dive sites is “The Blue Hole” I didn’t want to end up at the bottom in a heap feeding the fishes (it goes down to well offer 100 meters). I’m now sitting in the cool shade of a palm tree in Ralph’s drinking a hot chocolate feeling sorry for myself 😦
BUUUTTTT all Is not lost. I will move some stuff into my new flat (it’s the one I wanted originally) and get some cleaning stuff for the finishing touches. It needs an under sink cupboard type thing, (or at least a curtain across the opening) so I will take my time and make it my own. I’m here for a while now and I think it’s going to be ok! 🙂 as for the diving, well i can’t do much feeling like this, so I guess a few pictures and stuff will present themselves again.
I’m in clip order, but this is for my circle of friends around the world, (and it’s getting a BIGGER circle, or a smaller world)
